Pieter de Wilde, the immediate past chair of the Affiliate Region has recently authored this key publication in the field of building performance analysis and publication, which was published by Wiley last summer with a book signing session took place at the Building Simulation and Optimization 2018 Conference in Cambridge in September.
The subject of the book, building performance, is an important yet surprisingly complex concept. The book presents a comprehensive and systematic overview of this topic. It provides a working definition of building performance, and an in-depth discussion of the role building performance plays throughout the building life cycle.
